- Baba (बाबा): Father
- Big brother, dada (दादा): Elder brother
- Anna (अण्णा): Elder brother (informal)
- Didi- tai (ताई): Elder sister
- Tujha nao Kai? (तुझं नाव काय?): What is your name?
- Tera naam kya? (तेरा नाम क्या?): What is your name? (informal)
- Mai - mi (मी): I
- Aapko - tumcha (तुमचं): You (formal)
- Yeh tujhi bike hai? (येह तुझी बाईक है?): Is this your bike? (informal)
- Majha nao Quadeer (माझं नाव खदीर): My name is Quadeer
- Dadi ya Nani - aji (आजी): Grandmother (paternal or maternal)
- Dada ya Nana- ajoba (आजोबा): Grandfather (paternal or maternal)
